Sanctified Success! The First Annual Sanctified Vintage Chopper Show
The First Annual Sanctified Vintage Chopper Show was a blast! HiRevzGarage.com and Law Tigers of Georgia presented a one-of-a-kind show. The stresses of building a show and nine months of preparation all faded away by 10am on the morning of October 23rd as awesome bikes started to roll in. Soon after, Big Don Spurlin was picking the guitar and singing the blues. It’s estimated that over 80 custom motorcycles were counted throughout the day. All day long bikes were rolling in and blasting out, loud pipes screaming behind them. The atmosphere of the show felt like one big family reunion, but a…

Turkey Day Delirium

Turkey Day Delirium
We’re into that frightful fourth Thursday month my BTR friends. Even though it’s only one day, the preceding weeks are scary times for me and my cousins. November is synonymous for many things; cooler weather, breaking out the riding leathers, the start of snowbird season and that dreaded turkey day known to you humans as Thanksgiving. You're not going to get any thanks from me or my feathered family. The changing of the leaves lets us know that it’s time for the chopping of the heads that we all have nightmares about. There’s nothing worse for us fowl than to…

In case you haven’t seen the memo, ‘lifted trucks are the new black’.
In case you haven’t seen the memo, ‘lifted trucks are the new black’. Long gone are the days that pick ups were only thought to be driven by farm hands, cowboys and construction workers. Lifted Trucks are as mainstream and American as ‘baseball, hotdogs, apple pie and chevrolet’ and we know just the man to help you get that ‘oh so perfect’ ride height for your cargo crawler. Meet Jeremy Braer of Fidelis Automotive. Jeremy Braer has the confidence and the skill set to get things done quickly, effectively and correctly when it comes to not only lifting trucks, but…

Are You an Idiot? Nefarious James on Giving Thanks
Well, Yee-haw! Here we are in November. Almost the end of another year. So I sit here thinking to myself about the month of November. It happens to be the month that we celebrate Thanksgiving. A holiday for which we celebrate the obvious, and that is… thanks. It could be thanks for many things. Happenings that have gone on or just being thankful for being alive. Read any posts on social media and we will see how many people and loved ones others including ourselves lose every day. So that being said, take a moment and think about all of…

Southbound & Down

Southbound & Down
What do you call an event where a large gathering of people get together with a common passion in Choppers and the chopper lifestyle? If that event is put together by Shawn Zinn and the event is in Gibsonton, Fl. Many people will tell you ‘that event’ is called ‘SouthBound and Down’. SouthBound and Down came to fruition with a very simple goal in mind, no ‘corporate’ sponsors, no ‘corporate’- anything. No awards, judges or trophies. None of the politics, favoritism and butt kissing that go along with it in hopes of ‘winning’ anything. The only reason for the event is…

THE RIDE – WHAT WOULD YOU DO AT AGE 19 GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO COMPLETELY RESET YOUR LIFE?

THE RIDE – WHAT WOULD YOU DO AT AGE 19 GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO COMPLETELY RESET YOUR LIFE?
Here’s what I did. I quit my disappointing construction job and hit the road on my 2020 Harley-Davidson Softail. The 8,000-mile cross country adventure began, as I was destined to encounter some of the most beautiful places in the country for the very first time. This is the opportunity given to me in August 2021 and boy did I take it! I started west of Atlanta and worked my way Northeast with two other riders and no destination in sight, no deadline, just “The Ride,” and nothing else. Riding through Blueridge and Appalachia country gives such a good picture of…

Art For Sickos – Twisted Art By DMAC
Doug Mac can thank, or blame, his old man for sending him down the road to lowbrow art littered with camp horror and hard rock. Mac divides his time between slinging bass for heavy rockers American Acid, and slinging ink that brings to life characters that are drawn mondo bizarro and over the top. He has illustrated covers for The Village Voice, designed and drawn the posters for the custom-van documentary “Vannin’”, and worked with Alice In Chains, Luke Combs, Lita Ford, Shinedown, and many other national bands. He is also a regular contributor to Ol’ Skool Rodz and Girls…

Bad Day At The Quickie Mart

Bad Day At The Quickie Mart
Hey, hey, my BTR friends. I was just chatting with Mike, hanging out in the sanctuary at Paradise, watching the birds fly over the Lanai and wondering if they really get any enjoyment out of all that flapping. A few months ago he took me to the beach to practice my hanging eight in the surf and try flying in the Gulf breeze. I’ve been surfing for a while and getting pretty good at it but, the flying part is for the birds. I kept crash landing and getting a beak full of sand. I just don’t know why they…
