Doug Mac can thank, or blame, his old man for sending him down the road to lowbrow art littered with camp horror and hard rock. Mac divides his time between slinging bass for heavy rockers American Acid, and slinging ink that brings to life characters that are drawn mondo bizarro and over the top. He has illustrated covers for The Village Voice, designed and drawn the posters for the custom-van documentary “Vannin’”, and worked with Alice In Chains, Luke Combs, Lita Ford, Shinedown, and many other national bands.
