American Patriots Welcome Home After missing for 47 years the remains of Army Maj. Donald G. Carr (Texas) were recovered and identified by the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency. Major Carr was assigned to Mobile Launch Team 3, 5th Special Forces Group, Republic of South Vietnam. There are still 1,598 American service personnel as well as civilians declared missing from the War in Vietnam. We will keep looking and bring them all home. The Women’s Coalition of Motorcyclists (WCM) is dedicated to doubling the number of female riders by 2020. In pursuit of this goal, we have teamed up with SJ’s management team Threader 24 Racing and Porsche Taylor for Black Girls Ride Magazine to create the SJ Harris Legacy Scholarship Fund. Joi “SJ” Harris, was the first African American female licensed by both the Champion Cup Series (CCS) and the American Sportbike Racing Association (ASRA) in the United States. When Melinda Johnson was in her 20’s she rode on back of her boyfriend’s bike. When that relationship ended she was a single mom with two teenagers, working a full-time job, and various part-time jobs— such as cleaning offices and selling Avon and other direct marketing products.
