ORLANDO HARLEY-DAVIDSON TO HOST VETERAN’S APPRECIATION WEEKEND TO BENEFIT OPERATION GIVEBACK
Orlando, Fla. — July 16, 2014 — Since 1916, Harley-Davidson motorcycles have always been on the front line – right next to the troops – and our support of America’s military service personnel on and off the battlefield has never wavered. We at Orlando Harley-Davidson will honor the fine men and women who protect and serve this great nation during our Veteran’s Appreciation Weekend happening Friday, July 25 through Sunday, July 27, 2014.
All are welcome at the Orlando Harley-Davidson Historic Factory Dealership on Friday, July 25th at 6:30pm for the Defend Freedom event presented by the Concerned Veterans of America. This national tour features live music from patriotic rock band Madison Rising, who gained international acclaim (and over 5 million YouTube views!) for their stunning rendition of The Star Spangled Banner. Special guest speakers include Captain Sean Parnell, Army Ranger and New York Times best-selling author, as well as CVA CEO and Fox News Contributor Pete Hegseth. Complimentary food and drinks will be served while supplies last. Admission and parking are FREE.
On Saturday, July 26th, Orlando Harley-Davidson presents our 1st Annual Veterans Ride & Rally. For a $10 suggested donation to OPERATION GIVEBACK, motorcycle enthusiasts will enjoy an escorted scenic ride to the Orlando Harley-Davidson Historic Factory Dealership for a post-ride party featuring a patriotic performance by the Orlando Harley-Davidson Drill Team. The party also includes food and drinks, live music from 3 Ring Circus, a 50/50 raffle and parts swap meet. Ride registration begins at 8:30am at East Orlando Harley-Davidson OR Orlando Harley-Davidson South. All motorcycle makes and models welcome.
During both events, guests will be able to explore an interactive exhibit from the Museum of Military History and meet representatives from military support groups such as the USO, the American Legion and the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association.
100% of proceeds from the ride will benefit OPERATION GIVEBACK, a 501c3 organization in Orlando that serves to raise awareness and resources for our wounded warriors, their families and the children of our fallen heroes.
