The seventh annual Ride for Hope, a 501(c)3 ovarian cancer awareness motorcycle ride and celebration, takes place on Sunday, June 26. Ride for Hope raises money for local women diagnosed with ovarian cancer and suffering financial hardships from treatment costs.
The 55-mile escorted ride through the scenic country roads of McHenry County, medically supported by the EMS Roaddocs of Illinois, begins at Woodstock Harley-Davidson, 2235 S. Eastwood Drive in Woodstock, and ends at Niko’s Red Mill Tavern, 1040 Lake Avenue in Woodstock. Registration is $35 per person and available at http://rfh22.eventbrite.com. Day of registration is 8:30-10:00am, with kickstands up at 10:30am. The after party is 1:00-4:00pm. All makes and models of motorcycles and non-riders are welcome. The registration fee includes: the ride, the after party including Niko’s buffet and dessert, water, soda, and live music. We are featuring a silent auction, box drawings, a Split the Pot raffle, our Teal Marketplace, and a Survivor’s Tent.
