We’re celebrating the life of our friend Jim. He’ll be turning 69 on June 23, 2022. Unfortunately, this will be the last one he’ll be able to celebrate. He was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Brain cancer so seeing 70 isn’t in the cards.
Jim has been riding since he was a kid. He’s biker through and through. He had to park his bike about 10 years ago due to health issues, but decided to ride again and got himself a new bike and was able to ride for the last year before he got too sick. Now it’s parked and he’s living out his time with us.
I wanted to do something really special for him for his birthday. The sound of a bike revving up makes him smile, so I want to get as many bikes as possible to come roll through, show some love and make some noise. Won’t take long and will bring so much happiness to this kind soul who deserves so much.
Since it’s on a Thursday, we’ll meet at the Dupree Lakes Clubhouse parking lot at 6255 Dupree Lakes Blvd in Land O Lakes. From there we’ll head to our house at 23523 Boulder Crest Place Land O Lakes.
I will warn you, it’s a little rural and the roads are not paved well. But it is safe, just want everyone to be careful and know what to expect. There’s a culdesac kinda at the end of the road. I guess just roll through, make some noise and head back out. If anyone wants to stop in and say hey, just come in the driveway and park.
