Cameron Beaubier and JD Beach dominated their race classes, Superbike and Supersport, this past weekend at Sonoma Raceway, with both riders taking commanding wins both days at the renowned track. In Superbike, Beaubier ran away from the pack Saturday and Sunday on his Monster Energy/Graves Yamaha R1, leaving the challengers Josh Herrin and Toni Elias to fight over the scraps of 2nd and 3rd place, which they swapped both days. MotoAmerica road racing resumed at Utah Motorsports Park this past weekend after a brief summer break. The temps were hot, and so was the racing.   In the Superbike 1000 class, 2017 defending champion Toni Elias took race one after crashing and burning his bike in qualifying, in what he termed "a little Japanese-American barbecue." EPA proposes 590 million gallons of additional ethanol in nation's fuel supply   PICKERINGTON, Ohio -- The American Motorcyclist Association opposes a proposal from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to increase the amount of ethanol in the country's fuel supply by nearly 600 million gallons in 2019. The 2019 renewable volume obligations announced by the EPA June 26 call for 19.88 billion gallons of ethanol to be blended into the nation's vehicle fuel supply in 2019, up 3 percent from the 19.29 billion gallons mandated for 2018.
