Dealer Registration for 2016 American International Motorcycle Expo Experiences Significant Growth

Record Number of Dealer Attendees Signing Up

IRVINE, Calif. (September 1, 2016) – With less than two months remaining until the fourth annual American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo), dealer registration for the 2016 show has reached an all-time high, demonstrating exceptional year-on-year growth. This fall’s event, which will take place October 13-16 from a new North Hall location at Orlando, Florida’s Orange County Convention Center (OCCC), has seen registration grow to 148% of last year’s number for the same period.

As a platform that brings together dealers, media, and consumers, much of AIMExpo is geared toward programs that enhance the trade attendee experience beyond the obvious showcasing of new products and services by industry exhibitors. Dealer education seminars, key networking events, the AMA Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, and the MotoAmerica Night of Champions are contributing to the momentum to help dealers see the return on investing a few days of their time to ensure they’re on the lead lap for their businesses.

“If you’re a dealer in today’s retail environment, you need to be at AIMExpo, it’s that simple,” said Mike Webster, Senior Vice President of MIC Events. “There is tremendous value alone in the Powersports DEALER Seminars, which provide an immediate path to increasing a store’s profitability, and they’re free to powersports dealers. The HAPPY! Happy Hour offers up a key networking opportunity, and we’re working with exhibitors to offer more show specials than ever before to create an obvious ROI for dealers. Heading into the fourth show, we can sense that dealers have gained a greater understanding of AIMExpo’s importance to their upcoming year, in this case planning for success in 2017. We’re excited and gratified to acknowledge the sharp increase in registrations from retailers.”

In addition to the hundreds of exhibitors and countless new products available for dealers to see first-hand inside the OCCC, AIMExpo Outdoors! returns with demo ride opportunities from participating manufacturers, now located directly outside and next to the exhibit hall. The Powersports DEALER Seminars @ AIMExpo presented by PowerSports Business (PDS@AIMExpo), offers a comprehensive, dealer-focused educational program featuring 32 interactive and instructive sessions across five tracks, each curated to the most crucial business needs of any dealership and takes place during the two trade days on October 13 and 14.

Free dealer registration for AIMExpo 2016 is still available. To register, visit www.aimexpousa.com and click the yellow dealer registration button on the top right of the homepage.
