As a nation, we denied Vietnam veterans the gratitude their bravery deserved. Unable to separate the warrior from the war, we greeted our heroes with apathy and animosity instead of gratefulness and appreciation. Now, the 9/11 generation of wartime veterans call the country to come together and welcome these heroes all the way home in a grand display of honor and appreciation for those who served in Vietnam.
