THUNDER BY THE BAY MUSIC & MOTORCYCLE FESTIVAL THIS WEEKEND

The 22nd Annual Thunder By The Bay Music & Motorcycle Festival takes place February 14-16 at the Sarasota Fairgrounds to benefit Suncoast Charities for Children. This year’s festival includes 11 bands, craft beer garden, FMX & BMX freestyle acts, over 100 vendors, two bike shows, great food, and so much more. A motorcycle charity poker run, offering cash prizes, will take place Sunday morning ending at the fairgrounds.

Featured headliner for this year’s Festival is national recording artist WARRANT performing at 8 pm on Saturday, February 15. WARRANT has sold over 10 million albums worldwide performing notable hits such as Cherry Pie”, “I Saw Red”, “Uncle Tom’s Cabin”, and “Heaven”.

Tented seating will be available, however, guests are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and enjoy this year’s entertainment performing a wide variety of continuous live music featuring: Love Alive (Heart Tribute), In The Light of Led Zeppelin, Green River (Creedence Clearwater Revival Tribue) U.S. Stones (Rolling Stones Tribute), Ultimate Def Leppard (Def Leppard Tribute), Bad Inc. (Bad Company Tribute), 4NR2 (Foreigner Tribute), 37 Special (.38 Special Tribute), Supernatural (Santana Tribute) along with local bands such as Nobody’s Fool and Rebel Heart. Camping is also available by contacting the Sarasota Fairgrounds directly.

Presenting Sponsors include Rossiter’s Harley-Davidson and S&S Motorsports. The festival isopen rain or shine. Admission is $5 at the gate (12 and under free). Advance $12 three day festival passes are also available through 5:00 PM on Friday, February 14, at Rossiter’s Harley-Davidson and Sarasota Ford. Media planning to attend the Festival should arrive and park inside Gate #5. Please email lucy.nicandri@suncoastcc.org or text Lucy at (941) 915-3498 so that she can leave your name at the gate for you to receive a media credential and parking pass. Your credential also allows you access into the VIP tent.
