American legion remembering our veterans during the holidays
What a wonderful time of the year indeed! Thanks to the American Legion 138 the Veterans that reside at Liberty Manor for Veterans enjoyed a spectacular holiday feast with all of the trimmings. The veterans also received a benevolent donation by the American Legion Post, the Riders, the Auxiliary and American Legion Sons. The event boast of a fabulous holiday feast with all the trimmings, gifts galore, food and a van full of toiletries. Liberty Manor for Veterans, Inc, is a non-profit organization committed to promoting the developmental and social needs of veterans who have served our country, fought for our country but fallen victim to homelessness.
The American Legion is the nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization, committed to mentoring youth and sponsorship of wholesome programs in our communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion to fellow servicemembers and veterans.
