I Wet My Pants on the way to Frazier’s Harley-Davidson

Wait … that’s NOT what it seems. Yeah, I was excited, thinking about the “Christmas in July” sale, the pretty girls in bikini’s washing hogs, and of course the free hot dogs! Free food always gets me excited!

But it was that downpour of rain I rode into after merging onto GA 400, and up the road maybe a half-mile, that got me soaked! But that’s alright. I was dressed for success in my cutoff sleeveless t-shirt and patched up blue jeans. At least I was wearing my Harley-Davidson waterproof boots! My feet stayed dry. And I like that.

Luckily for me & you, the torrential downpour gave me a much-needed chance to try my new Metzler Cruisetec tires in the rain. The tires worked well. No slippin’ or slidin’, and most importantly for me, no hydroplaning. Emergency braking was no problem. For the last few months, in all types of riding conditions, the Metzler’s have worked flawlessly. My kind of tire.

Arriving at Frazier’s, the sun is now out and I’m already dry, the very first thing that caught my attention was the bikini bike wash. How in the heck did I notice that FIRST? Maybe it was the beautiful Harley that was currently being washed? I dunno. Lucky for you, I snapped a couple of photos to share and maybe get your opinion. What do you think?

THE “GOOD NEWS” IS … that’s what the Christian Motorcycle Association was sharing with the visitors at Frazier’s, along with serving delicious hot dogs, chips, and cookies. What more could a man, or woman ask for? Food for the soul, and food the stomach. Oh yeah! Fabulous.

Employees inside Frazier’s were busy taking care of customers. I managed to pull a couple of the guys, and gals, aside to pose for some photos. Great lookin’ crew in all departments: sales, accessories, and service. All areas seemed extremely knowledgeable about ALL aspects of Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

Can you tell? I had a GREAT time at Frazier’s!

That’s not all. Earlier in the month, I stopped in at G&G Cycles of Roswell, just down the road from Killer Creek Harley-Davidson, for their customer appreciation party. Celebrating their 2nd Anniversary, G&G offered free wings and beer to all of their new and existing customers. Along with a bikini bike wash, free giveaways and live music all day long. That’s the way to party, G&G!

What a Great Country we live in! The freedom we’re able to enjoy each and every day, like no other country in the world. I hope that we always remember that “Freedom ain’t Free.”

Which leads me to the 3rd Annual Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show Benefitting Veterans with PTSD. The show was held at Tubby’s Tavern on Hwy 92 in Douglasville, GA. This place is veteran owned and operated. Great location for the show. They had live music, door prizes, and a well-attended “Pin-Up” contest.

All Proceeds from this event benefit Healing4Heroes, a nonprofit organization that helps veterans with PTSD by providing rescued Service Dogs. Great cause! I’m very glad I was able to attend and support.

Oh, look at the time now, will you. I gotta go, I hear my Road King calling … until next month, “keep your knees in the breeze and stay riding free.”
