BITTER SPIELBERG FOR THE SKY RACING TEAM VR46_MOTO3

An uphill race for Bulega and Foggia who cross the finish line respectively at the 23rd and 26th place.
Spielberg (Austria), August 12, 2018 – With no points ends the weekend for the Sky Racing Team VR46 at Spielberg’s Ring, which today hosted the Austrian GP. After a difficult race, Nicolò Bulega is 23rd under the checkered flag, while Dennis Foggia 26th.

Started from the 22nd box of the grid, Nicolò did not find the feelings he was looking for on his KTM and immediately lost the contact with the strongest guys.

After a good start, due to a contact with another rider in the first laps, Dennis was forced to give positions without being able to recover.
A race really more difficult than we could expect: we started from the second half of the group with the goal of recovering places, but in the first laps we did not manage to be as aggressive as we hoped and we lost the contact with the first guys. We tried to mend the gap, but we did not succeed. A very tough weekend, we have to go back to the data, understand exactly what happened and get back to work for Silverstone.

It was not the race I expected: we have started quite well in the free practices, but in qualifying, we have struggled and today we did not manage to recover. We have to work on the engine and chassis to mend the gap.

I did not start badly, at the first corner I was around the ninth position, but in the first lap I had a contact with another rider and I was forced to give up positions and then I was not able to recover. I did not have the feeling I wanted and a vibration prevented me from riding as I wanted.
