Game Over Cycles Press Release

During last weekend’s official celebrations of Harley-Davidson 115th anniversary, which took place in the capital of Czech Republic Prague, Polish company Game Over Cycles (GOC) won the prize in a competition organized at the event.

The Recidivist – built by GOC world’s first tattooed motorcycle won the Special Prize at the Prague Custom Gallery 2018. Custom Gallery is a bike show as well as the most prestigious global exhibition of motorcycle customization whose heart is the American V-Twin engine and its derivatives. Organized as part of the H-D brand anniversary, the competition was conducted in an unusual way. The rules of “custom bike show” contests allow any willing constructor to submit their motorcycle to the competition, however in the case of the Prague Custom Gallery, only selected companies and their machines were invited by organizers and got the opportunity to participate in the event.

An expert panel made up of motorcycle builders, motorcycle designers, Harley-Davidson representatives and 115th-anniversary event organizers held a number of selection rounds during the winter of 2017 – 2018. Eventually, they selected the 50 most striking candidates from around the world, nominating them for participation in the Prague Custom Gallery 2018.

Game Over Cycles was given the opportunity to present two of their motorcycles during the event: The Recidivist and Fat Max. The Recidivist is world’s first tattooed motorcycle. This custom Harley has already won many international awards, including 1st place in the “Most Unusual” class in the Rat’s Hole Custom Bike Show, the oldest and most prestigious custom bike show in the world organized at the Sturgis® Motorcycle Rally™, the biggest motorcycle rally in the world (08.2017, USA).

Fat Max is a custom H-D Fat Bob 114″ 2018. The main theme of the machine and the inspiration of its customization are vehicles from the Mad Max movie series, therefore right from the start, it was supposed to be an aggressive, very fast motorcycle that can cope with every terrain and ride both on and off the road. The combination of the base model name and the movie title gave birth to vehicle’s name – Fat Max. The motorcycle is a finalist of the Battle of the Kings 2018. The Battle of the Kings is an annual worldwide competition between Harley-Davidson dealers for the best-modified Harley organized by the H-D brand. The world final round will take place in November in Milan.

But eventually, it was The Recidivist – a tattooed Harley with sidecar, which received the Special Award at the Prague Custom Gallery 2018. This is the tenth prize awarded to this unique machine from Poland.

Prague Custom Gallery is the first exhibition of such enormity and global extent in the history of motorcycle building and customization. According to the organizers’ estimates, over 60 000 motorcyclists and 40 000 other guests from over 70 countries participated in the celebrations of the 115th anniversary of the Harley-Davidson brand in Prague. It was the largest event celebrating the anniversary of the legendary brand outside of the main event, which will take place at the turn of August and September in the hometown of the company, Milwaukee in the USA.

Game Over Cycles (GOC) is a Polish custom motorcycles manufacturer formed in 2012. The company is known for its original creations, such as The Recidivist – world’s first tattooed motorcycle and Behemoth Bike – a custom motorcycle created in collaboration with global Polish metal music legends Behemoth. Machines created by Game Over Cycles have won awards at some of the world’s biggest custom bike competitions. In just four years, the company received eight awards at European Bike Week, having won the prestigious “People’s Choice Award” no less than four times. European Bike Week is Europe’s largest open and free bike festival and one of the biggest in the world. The event has been organized annually in the Austrian village of Faaker-See and according to organizers’ data in 2017, the event saw an attendance of more than 125 000 visitors and 70 000 bikes from around the world. In June 2016 GOC became the official dealer of legendary motorcycle brand Harley-Davidson. In March 2017 the company officially opened GOC Harley-Davidson Rzeszów, the largest Harley-Davidson dealership in Poland and Central-Eastern Europe as well as GOC showroom.
