With today’s podium, the rider of the Sky Racing Team VR46 confirms the leadership in the Championship. Luca Marini was forced to retire due to an accident.
JEREZ DE LA FRONTERA (Spain), May 6th, 2018 – After the victories in Qatar and Austin, Francesco Bagnaia scored the third podium of the season at the Spanish GP for the Sky Racing Team VR46.

Pecco is one of the most competitive and constant riders of the starting grid and confirms the leadership in the Championship with 73 points. Started from the third box of the grid, after an excellent management of the first laps of the race, he defends the third step of the podium till the finishing line from Vierge’s attacks.

Forced to retire, after an accident in the first laps, Luca Marini who had reached the 12th place in qualifying.
