More Than Motorcycles. It’s Tradition.
Leesburg, FL: The 21st Annual Leesburg Bikefest roars to life on April 28-30, 2017 and this year offers its usual full slate of enthusiasm, experiences, incredible course destinations and much more.
The City of Leesburg, just north of Orlando, has become known as one of America’s premier biker destinations. Leesburg offers the right mix of small town hospitality and world-class atmosphere for this storied event. This year, over a quarter million bikers, music lovers and visitors are expected to congregate for the world’s largest motorcycle and music event, Leesburg Bikefest.
For over 20 years, this event has grown due to its friendliness, accessibility, headlining entertainment, bike shows, demonstrations and contests, and over 200 vendors featuring everything from custom bike accessories, clothing, food, jewelry and more.
This year, April 28, 29 and 30 marks the 21st anniversary of this free event and everyone is welcome! This year’s headlining entertainment features the generational bands of Queensryche, Fuel and Pure Prairie League on the main stages. Renowned body models will also be taking the stage in over five Hot Body contests.
Over 60 bands are slated to play across three days and ten different venues. All music genres are represented, including Rock, Country, Blues, dueling pianos, solo artists and others. Beyond the music, enthusiasts will find a variety of exciting bike shows and demonstrations. The world famous “Rat’s Hole” will hold their custom bike show featuring hundreds of the coolest bikes around. Other events include: Team Extreme Bike Stunt Show, Ride Like a Pro, Biker Games and the legendary American Motor Drome and Wall of Death where stunt men ride vintage motorcycles on the walls of a cylindrical tower.
Leesburg Bikefest has become a national fan favorite due to its logistics and lay-out. Contained within a 30-block radius, all streets are pedestrian and bike friendly and walkable within ten minutes. Law enforcement and local merchants have gained a reputation for their hospitality, as well.
Another notable feature is the Leesburg Bikefest mobile app that provides maps, band profiles, vendor lists and a complete interactive schedule that allows users to create their own filters for a custom experience. The app is available for download at: www.mobileapp.LeeburgBikfest.com .
