2016 MOTUS MST R
Motus® MST motorcycles were designed from the ground up to provide all-day riding comfort and canyon-carving performance. All design decisions centered on three core principles: performance, comfort and range.
MST’s curb (wet) weight is approximately 560 Ibs with side cases.
For the chassis, Conn and Case formed a partnership with a well-respected name in motorsports: Pratt & Miller Engineering. Known for multiple championships in the Rolex Grand-Am series, NASCAR and eight class wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Pratt & Miller’s engineering expertise helped Motus complete the initial prototypes and begin the durability testing.
With Pratt & Miller Engineering, Motus used modern engineering tools including finite element analysis and rapid prototyping processes in engineering the chromoly space frame to achieve the rigidity desired, yet maintain a certain amount of flex to give the rider a feel for the road.
The V4 Baby Block® engine is mounted longitudinally and sits with a 15° forward lean, optimizing weight distribution and moving heat down and away from the rider. It also gives the Motus an aggressive, powerful profile.
Body panels are composite materials selected for light weight and high strength.

TWO MODELS: THE MST AND MSTR
The Motus® MST’s are the only American sport touring motorcycles.
The MST, Motus’ base model, comes standard with a 1650cc, liquid-cooled V4 Baby Block® delivering 160 bhp with electronic fuel injection and electronic throttle control. It features a 6-speed, dual overdrive gearbox, Öhlins NIX30 adjustable forks and a Progressive adjustable mono-shock. The MST comes standard with
Brembo calipers and OZ forged aluminum wheels.
The MSTR, Motus’ premium upgrade, features a 1650cc, liquid-cooled V4R Baby Block® delivering 180 bhp with electronic fuel injection and electronic throttle control. The MSTR features a 6-speed dual overdrive gearbox, Öhlins NIX30 adjustable forks and the Öhlins TTX36 mono-shock with remote preload adjuster. The MSTR features BST carbon fiber wheels, Brembo M4 monoblock calipers and a number of other performance enhancing upgrades.
