I would Like to Thank You
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Attached please find a scan of page 63 of your December issue. It is part of the article on Christmas wreaths across America. I am retired Army, a 100% disabled Vietnam veteran, a former Post, State, and National VFW officer and I am Jewish.
I would like to both thank you and commend you for the photo of the rider saluting the Jewish grave stone in that article. Sadly, the VFW and American Legion magazines seldom, if ever, show a photo with the graves of Jewish troops as we made up less than 2% of the American population. Your inclusion of this photo perhaps helps to show others that we defended this country that we love so much to our last full measure. Thank you again for your openness and fairness.
