The Enforcers Motorcycle Club Raises Spirits and Funds for Special Olympics

Jupiter, FL – Harley Davidson of Palm Beach and the Jensen Beach Moose were the two starting points for a fund raising poker run for The Dream Ride that culminated at the Enforcers Motorcycle Club’s Club House in Riviera Beach and brought $1600.00 + to the Dream Ride’s efforts for Special Olympics of Palm Beach County. Over 100 bikers joined together to ride, meet and donate, as well as buy raffle tickets for prizes, many donated by local businesses and stops on the poker run route. (See list below) The riders stopped at various bars and restaurants throughout Martin and Northern Palm Beach County, where they picked up cards to vie for the winning hand at the end; they refused to be daunted by the sprinkling rain and predictions of storms and rode on for a good cause.

A few Special Olympic athletes met the bikers at the end of the ride and Roscoe, the founder of the Enforcers Mother Chapter and the host of American Biker Talk Radio, invited the athletes to the stage and presented them with honorary Enforcer Motorcycle Club patches, made to commemorate freedom and the military and law enforcement members of the club. The athletes were honored and will add the patches to their collection of trophies and medals that also recognize their accomplishments through Special Olympics.

About Dream Ride:
The Dream Ride is a multi-day and multi-event benefit that raises funds and awareness for The Hometown Foundation, which in turn funds Special Olympics programs in many international communities. The charity also supports pet rescues, US Military Veterans and organizations that fight diseases and support children and those with disabilities. What started as a charity motorcycle ride, grew into a 15-year, ever-growing event that now involves Canada, Australia, New Zealand, St. Kitts/Nevus and cities and towns from the Southeast through New England. The Dream Ride starts at PGA National Spa & Resort and culminates in Farmington, CT for a 3-day extravaganza including motorcycle rides, collector car shows, concerts, sporting and entertainment events and awards presentations.
