CORBIN INTRODUCES CANYON DUAL SPORT FOR 2013 – 2014 BMW R1200 GS & GS ADVENTURE
Hollister, CA– Corbin’s new Canyon Dual Sport Saddle for the BMW R 1200 GS converts your stock two-piece seat into a very comfortable single piece dual saddle. It was designed to maximize the comfort and usability of your bike while placing you in the sweet spot. This single piece design also gave Corbin the ability to work in backrest support hardware in the front seating position which would not be possible with the two-piece unit.
The Canyon Dual Sport provides a platform that offers an increased area of body contact to give excellent weight dispersion and eliminate hot spots. It’s neutralized to curb the tendency to slide in the saddle which will greatly reduce fatigue. The shaping of the Corbin saddle relieves centralized pressure and supports comfortably from the sides.
All Corbin saddles are built up with their exclusive Comfort Cell® foam. They may feel firm at first, but they break-in to your body and provide lasting support for years… firm is a Good thing!
It accepts a removable backrest in the rider’s position for added vertical back support. Backrest installs with a single screw and adjusts easily without removing it from the saddle. Ovalbac model #02-S (shown) has backing plate options for a custom look. Choose from a variety of backrest styles and sizes to suit your needs.
All components are covered using genuine leather in the body contact areas for a perch that breathes with your body. Carbon-Fiber leather in the seating with Asphalt vinyl sides for contrast. Vinyl sides will keep your saddle nice and tight and looking new longer. Corbin’s tasteful stitch pattern and motosport themed logo add a nice finishing touch.
Corbin built electric seat heaters into their saddle design that integrate with the BMW control module. A conveniently located switch along the side for the passenger works just like the stock unit. Temperature is controlled and maintained just like the OEM seat to provide luxurious heat on those chilly mornings. To add a touch of class and conceal the heating pads, Corbin used a tasteful twin stitch pattern in the leather seating areas.
