Pensacola, Fla—Two iconic brands in the world of motorcycling, BMW Motorrad and Moto Guzzi have relocated to a more spacious, state-of-the-art facility in Pensacola.

The old Rex TV & Appliance building at 6330 Pensacola Boulevard has been transformed into a contemporary structure that will properly showcase the BMW motorcycle and Moto Guzzi product lines. The motorcycle brands’ inventory had been previously located on North W Street in Pensacola.

The new facility will also host an expanded product line to initially include Motus motorcycles, manufactured in Birmingham, AL; URAL sidecar motorcycles, manufactured in Russia; and Eric Buell Racing (EBR) motorcycles, based in Wisconsin.

The new location will continue to feature highly skilled technicians in the service department and a knowledgeable team staffing the parts, sales and other support functions. The new facility will also feature an extensive inventory of motorcycle clothing and riding gear as well as a comfortable, well-equipped customer lounge featuring historical motorcycle memorabilia.

Adventure Motorsports of NWF implemented energy-saving measures in the building’s refurbishment. Installation of the heating and air conditioning system resulted in an incentive rebate from Gulf Power. In addition, the service department will continue its on-going recycling program for used oil and oil filters. A cardboard and scrap metal recycling program is being instituted at the facility.

The President of Adventure Motorsports, Courtney Pereira, emphasized that “The relocation of BMW motorcycles and Moto Guzzi to the Pensacola Boulevard location will provide greater convenience for customers and will allow a more comprehensive inventory of products.”

Pereira also pointed out the importance of reviving what was once a derelict building and turning it into an attractive, operational business. “In the long run, this will benefit the entire community with the enhanced appearance of this area,” he said.

Pereira completely rehabilitated another nearby, run-down property in 2004 that sits across the street on Highway 29. It was a vacant, former Buick dealership that is now home to Harley-Davidson of Pensacola.
