Year-End Giveaway Promotion Starts November 1st

IRVINE, Calif., Oct. 5, 2012 – The Revive Your Ride! Year-End Giveaway promotion is back to help drive floor traffic and this year it includes two all-new prize packages for a couple of lucky participating retailers. This successful annual promotion runs Nov. 1 through Dec. 31 this year, offering retail customers the chance to win one of thirteen great prizes:

•

Grand Prize: $2,500

• Ten First Prizes: $1,000

• Two Second Prizes: $500

All prizes will be awarded in the form of gift certificates, that can be redeemed at the participating dealer’s store for gear, parts, accessories, service, whatever the customer wants. It is a simple, uncomplicated way to close the loop and keep dealers involved in the prize fulfillment.

This year, participating powersports retailers also have a chance to win big. Sign up and retailers are eligible to win one of two very special Revive Your Ride Party-Packages for your staff and customers. The dealer of the grand prizewinner will win one Revive Your Ride Party-Package and one other retailer, picked at random from all participating dealers, will also win a Revive Your Ride Party-Package that includes catering up to $1,000, $200 for DJ and/or decorations and 8 each $100 debit cards as door prizes for your guests, courtesy of the MIC Aftermarket members.

“For no money at all, retailers can give their customers a shot at winning one of thirteen great prizes. And what can be better than a $2,500, $1,000 or $500 gift certificate to their favorite dealership?” said Cam Arnold, vice president aftermarket at the Motorcycle Industry Council. “It’s a great way to get riders into your store and thinking about bikes, gear, service and the open road. The giveaway can bump up customer traffic, support new product introductions, help move older product, encourage customers to come in for end-of-season service, and much, much more. We’re also excited about the Revive Your Ride Party-Package for participating retailers. Someone’s going to win each prize, and two retailers will have a lot to celebrate.”

The promotion requires no investment from retailers. It only takes signing up at www.mic.org/reviveyourride. The retailer receives two promotion posters and will have unlimited access to online downloadable flyers, postcards, web content and other digital assets. In addition, each retailer is issued a unique dealer code and is listed on the dealer locator on the public Revive your Ride! website at www.reviveyourride.org.

It’s easy and free for retail customers, too. They enter the Revive Your Ride! Fall Promotion by getting the entry code from their dealer. Next, they go to www.reviveyourride.org, enter the entry code and complete the online entry form. That’s it. Winners will be notified on or after Jan. 21, 2013.
