Association Welcomes Eight New Member Companies

IRVINE, CA – The Motorcycle Industry Council recently welcomed eight innovative, diverse and well-respected powersports businesses as new member companies. Christini Technologies, Inc.; Duo Web Solutions; Innovative Motorcycle Research (IMR); KLIM USA; Modern Tire Company; Pied Piper Management Company, LLC; Rinehart Racing; and Vroom Network all were approved as new members by the MIC Board of Directors.

“As MIC membership grows, so do the benefits that we are able to provide for all of our partners,” said MIC President Tim Buche. “These eight new member companies will enjoy access to our extensive market research data, our new Business Advisory and Forecast, technical data and regulatory support, and a variety of industry discounts. Their presence, in turn, provides the MIC with strength in additional numbers, untapped resources and fresh avenues for addressing the challenges that the powersports industry faces daily.”

The MIC’s eight newest member companies are:

Christini Technologies, Inc., of Philadelphia, Penn., was founded in 1999 by Steven Christini with the development of the company’s first AWD mountain bike. The Motorcycle Industry Council exists to preserve, protect and promote motorcycling through government relations, communications and media relations, statistics and research, aftermarket programs, development of data communications standards, and activities surrounding technical and regulatory issues. As a not-for-profit, national industry association, the MIC seeks to support motorcyclists by representing manufacturers and distributors of motorcycles, scooters, motorcycle/ATV/ROV parts and accessories, and members of allied trades such as insurance, finance and investment companies, media companies and consultants.

The MIC is headquartered in Irvine, Calif., with a government relations office in metropolitan Washington, D.C. First called the MIC in 1970, the organization has been in operation since 1914. Visit the MIC at www.mic.org.
