Knight Fall at Peggy’s Corral

Knightfall is composed of four guys with over 100 years of combined experience in Music. Knightfall is the world’s smallest 14 piece band because it contains 3 drummers, 3 keyboardists, 3 bassists, 2 guitarists, and 3 singers, all wrapped up as 4 guys. They came together back in 1999, and were soon rocking the Bradenton/Sarasota area. It wasn’t long until everyone who came to see them perform claimed that they were the best band they have ever seen or heard. In early 2001, each member of the band had changes happen in their lives, and they took some time off. The short vacation turned into five long years, and it seemed that Knightfall was done. In December, 2006, Stacy Knight, the lead singer/guitarist/namesake of the band decided to gather the guys for his birthday party. After 3 practices, they had over 30 songs ready to play! The night of the party, they decided to keep things going, and after a few months, with over 80 songs in their repertoire, they started hitting the market again, and their playing became tighter than ever. In 2010 Knightfall welcomed the addition of Mike Zimmerman behind the drum kit. Mike is an excellent drummer, and he brought the level of the band up another step. He provided us with a solid foundation for our rhythm section, and was really gelling with us, making us a much stronger and tighter band than ever. In 2012, Mike went on to bigger and better things, and Knightfall welcomed back their original drummer, Johnny.
Knightfall has a knack for being able to capture the original ‘essence’ of each song, and also change it enough to make each one their own.
Not only is Knightfall playing cover songs but we also have recorded our own CD full of hard rocking originals. All 10 of the songs from our CD can be heard on our MySpace page.
