Dear Friends:
I would like to take a moment of your time to tell you about “Night of a Thousand Stars” .. .In the fall of the past 3 years, we have created and incredible evening for the people in our community. Although it started as a Homecoming Dinnerdance for adults, 16 and over who have special needs, it now has become an incredible night for all those who participate. Our guest are people who have disability challenges their families and caregivers. We also involve volunteers from the local high schools, churches and civic groups to be our hosts, servers, kitchen helpers and other tasks that make this special event possible.
In the past, we have been able to a local sponsorship, due to unforeseen circumstances, this is no longer possible. So we have had to rethink our strategy for this year. It lead us to Riverhills Country Club, who graciously offered us the use of their venue on October 24, 2015 for a extremely reasonable price Although we a re a non-profit corp .. registered in the state of Florida, at this time, we are unable to fmdraide due to the lack of having a 50lc3, we are hoping that our gracious community will donate funds and in Kind” goods necessary to continue to provide this community spirited event.
