Orlando, FLA – November 25, 2019 – Orlando Harley-Davidson today announced it will host the first local visit of Harley-Davidson’s new electric motorcycle, the LiveWire. The Harley-Davidson® LiveWire™ will make its Central Florida debut exclusively at Orlando Harley-Davidson for an all-inclusive customer experience.
The LiveWire is an all-new, all-electric motorcycle; an exhilarating and evocative new model designed to offer the rider a high-performance motorcycling experience infused with a new level of technology, and the premium look and feel of a Harley-Davidson product. The LiveWire is capable of rapid acceleration with just a twist of the throttle – no clutching or gear shifting required.
LiveWire features an advanced chassis control, electronic brake controls, and powertrain technology – helping to assist in accelerating and braking in straight lines or turns. The LiveWire can reach 0-60MPH in three seconds and comes with a 146-mile city range and a 95MPH highway range. Featuring two easy ways to charge, the LiveWire can use a Level 1 charger and power cord to connect to any standard household outlet or can connect to any public Level 3 DC Fast Charge station for an 80% charge in 40 minutes, or a 100% charge in an hour. LiveWire MSRP is $29,799.
“LiveWire is an exciting addition to the Harley-Davidson family,” said Anne Deli, president and co-founder of American Road Group, owner of Orlando Harley-Davidson. “This bike is perfect for those who like to travel, performance enthusiasts and even those looking for a second bike with a high fun factor. Orlando Harley-Davidson will hold the one-day Central Florida demo event with multiple LiveWire bikes available for test drives. Demos and test drives will be first come, first served. The dealership will also offer food and music for customers to come out and experience the bikes firsthand.
