The resurrection of the original Traditions created over a 21-year history, by Bill and Sheri Brown, The Cookson Hills Toy Run is held in Honor of Those Who Have Given Some, To Those Who Have Given All and in Memory of Bill Brown. With a new Board of Directors, Sheri returns to recreate the historical Legacy of The Down Home Make You Feel Good All Over Cookson Hills Toy Run’s 24th year Legacy. Once again the best Christmas event you don’t want to miss! The only organization that brings all four of our “forgotten” groups; Veterans, Children (newborn to 18 years), Special Need Individuals (all ages) and Seniors together along with community families and motorcycle riders from all over for a unique Christmas picnic celebration.

Let the magic of the true “spirit” of Christmas surround you and your family’s Christmas Season by attending this “one of a kind” special event. Touch a Soul, Make a Difference and Pay It Forward.

The event begins at Veteran’s Memorial Park, with some breakfast munchies, then a  LIVE AUCTION from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, with items donated or purchased and raffle drawings throughout, but hold on to your tickets because you’ll still have the chance to win the 50/50 raffle drawing later in the day. At 1:00 PM, kickstands up for the “country” motorcycle ride around Lake Thonotosassa arriving back at the park about 1:30 PM, escorted by Vietnam Vets & Legacy Vets Motorcycle Clubs. Those who didn’t partake of the BBQ earlier will have the opportunity to do so before the gifts are passed out.

At 2:30 PM, you begin directly passing out your gifts, along with those donated. We suggest Gift certificates be held till everything else has been passed out then used to even out the gifts for our Veterans, teens, special need individuals and seniors. Once everything has been distributed, witness the spine-tingling excitement when those receiving the gifts open them in your presence. Become captivated by the joy and happiness YOU have created.

If you’re still here at 4:00 PM, you get a chance to win the 50/50 Raffle from the tickets you held from the morning. Then the “5” Special Raffle Items drawing will happen, but you don’t have to be present to win those.
