Fun With The Kids At The MDA Run

It's hard for me to put into words how we all felt after meeting these incredibly brave kids. You tend to feel that "there by the grace of God go I", and at first you want to pity them, but after you talk to them, one on one, you find out that they have a way of dealing with what life has dealt them. These children face the everyday hurdles that would make most of us want to hide with so much dignity & courage that it makes you feel as though you are in the presence of something wonderful, yet they are just normal kids doing normal things. They have the same wants and desires as everyone else. The only difference is their physical bodies have a crippling disease. {short description of image}

Letter from Chris After our visit I never really expected anything, but this letter & photos came in the mail the other day, and I thought I should share it with you. It's from a kid named Chris......

Dear Ron,

I'm sending the pictures as I promised; Plus a few more. I thought you (and your friends) might like to see a little more of what we get to do at camp. Thanks for taking the time to sit and talk with us. It meant a lot to Ben, who doesn't get out too much; and also to me. We truly appreciate all of you guys and gals who came out to help. Hope you had a great time, See you next year!

I was BTR also;
