Premier Exhibitors, Vintage Clubs Appeal to all Types of fans at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, Featuring Riders of Kawasaki
Infield area will be teaming with activity
PICKERINGTON, Ohio — Displays from vintage motorcycle clubs and exhibitors will delight motorcycle enthusiasts of all types in the infield area during AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, featuring Riders of Kawasaki, July 7-9, at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio.
Nine infield displays feature Premier Exhibitors this year: Kawasaki Vintage Motorcycles, the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame, the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club, the Ton Up Club International Rally, Cincinnati Café Racer, Classic British Motorcycle Club of Cincinnati, Skidmark Garage, Skull Canvas Helmet Art Show and Heindl Engineering.
“These displays offer a variety of bikes that have undergone high-quality restorations by die-hard vintage enthusiasts,” said AMA Chief Operations Officer Jeff Massey. “Infield displays at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days include vintage and modern clubs, bike builders, vendors and more. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience some of the coolest companies and organizations in motorcycling.”
Displays in the Club Corral include original and restored motorcycles, club information, historical information and memorabilia. Club Corral participants for 2017 include Warrior Souls Military Motorcycle Club, Classic Wing Club and International Norton Owners Association.
Also in the infield is Builders Row, which features 6th City Cycles, Analog Motorcycles, Chi-Jers Vintage Bikeworks, Federal Moto, Legion Cycle Works and Loaded Gun Customs.

Kawasaki Vintage Motorcycles
See pristine examples of vintage Kawasaki motorcycles, from a 1966 Samurai 250 to a 1984 Ninja Turbo. There also will be history-making machines such as Jimmy Weinert’s 1974 championship-winning KX, Wayne Rainey’s 1983 GPZ Superbike and Jeff Emig’s KX500 from the Motocross of Nations.
AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame
Stop by the 20×40-foot AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame display in the Old Bike Barn Crossroads for a small taste of what you will find at the museum itself on the AMA campus in Pickerington, Ohio.
With more than 20,000 square feet of display space and 115-plus motorcycles on display, it is a ride destination that should be on your bucket list.
At the infield display, you can get raffle tickets for the 2017 Hall of Fame Raffle Bike: a 1966 Harley-Davidson FLH. The winner will be chosen and announced on Sunday, July 9.
The AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame was founded by the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation, a 501(C)3 non-profit corporation, and the American Motorcyclist Association in 1990.
Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club 40th Anniversary
The club will be hosting its 40th Anniversary celebration at the 2017 AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days with a display in the infield as part of the Old Bike Barn Crossroads.
Founded in 1977, the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club is the premier worldwide club dedicated to the preservation, restoration, and enjoyment of vintage Japanese motorcycles (20 years old or older) and the promotion of the sport of motorcycling. The VJMC hallmark is “participation at all levels and to have fun” – for all motorcycle enthusiasts young and old.
The Ton Up Club International Rally
The Ton Up Club was founded on the idea that classic bikes were built to be ridden not just polished and stared at. It’s also based on the Rocker culture of England in the 1960’s, which was strongly influenced by American outlaw biker culture of the 1950’s and the movie the Wild One. It’s really all about hanging out with your mates, riding your bike to the café and rock-n-roll. The term “Ton-Up” originated in the British Rocker culture of the early sixties and referred to hitting the 100 mph mark on your bike… No small feat on 60’s era motorcycles.
Cincinnati Café Racer
Southern Ohio’s premier group of Vintage & Cafe Racer style motorcycle enthusiasts. An inclusive group that enjoys all types of motorcycles. Don’t let the name fool you, they love more than just Cafe style bikes and believe less is more, unless you’re talking about the number of bikes in the garage.
Classic British Motorcycle Club of Cincinnati
Started in 1981 by four avid British enthusiasts and incorporated in 1989, the Classic British Motorcycle Club of Cincinnati, Ohio is the oldest and largest British Motorcycle club in the area. Dedicated to the riding, preservation and enjoyment of British motorcycles, past and present and all vintage motorcycles.
Skidmark Garage
Wrench. Relax. Repeat. Skidmark Garage is a 10,000-square-foot community motorcycle garage where people can work on motorcycles. The garage provides the tools, space and a helping community. Skidmark Garage is everyone’s space to fix their stuff and be a part of a cooperative, no-collar community.

An annual fundraiser for the nonprofit AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame, AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, featuring Riders of Kawasaki, features vintage motorcycle racing, bike shows, seminars, demo rides, a swap meet with nearly 1,000 independent vendors and much more.
